Most valuable player at every Championship club heading into transfer window

We now know the composition of next season's Championship.

Promoted trio Norwich City, Watford and Brentford will be heading for the Premier League after glorious campaigns.

As for Wycombe Wanderers, Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday, they'll want to quickly forget the 2020-21 season after dropping into League One.

In their places come Fulham, West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United, Hull City, Peterborough United and Blackpool.

With the fixtures for next season due out in less than three weeks, there's already plenty of excitement building. Additionally, the summer transfer market also opens next week and no doubt clubs will be chopping and changing their squads in anticipation of the new season.

As things stand, plenty of clubs are down to trimmed squads after announcing their retained lists.

Here, we look at the most valuable player currently contracted to all 24 second tier clubs heading into the summer. The valuations come via the respected website transfermarkt.

No doubt some of the names higher up the list will be attracting interest from elsewhere before the new season gets underway.

The likes of Sander Berge, Matheus Pereira and Adam Armstrong are already being linked with summer moves.
