Mortified bride apologies to wedding guests after accidental rude RSVP on invitations

It's no secret that planning a wedding can be a hectic time and several mishaps may occur along the way for the happy couple - or their guests. Amongst the overwhelming tasks of choosing a venue, seeking outfits for the special day, and even catering requirements - things can slip through the cracks.

A bride-to-be has told how she managed to make a mortifying blunder recently whilst sorting out her wedding invitations. After receiving the finished product of the design in the post, her eyes immediately drifted to the website placeholder for the guests to send their RSVP to - and instead of her wedding website, she found an X-rated web address in its place.

The couple had accidentally popped Porn Hub's website on their wedding invites. .She quickly reached out to family on social media to apologise for the error.

Sharing her experience on the popular video-sharing app TikTok, the bride-to-be's video has gone viral, already surpassed a jaw-dropping 1.5 million views to date.

The TikToker pleaded with fellow brides as she warned them not to make the same mistake, advising others "what not do for wedding invites".

She explained: "So, I got my wedding invitation in the mail today! It was super exciting, except I made a very large mistake that I'm going to share with you guys, so other brides don't make this mistake because I'm sure that it's super common.

"So, this is a really cute RSVP card, but I forgot I put this website in as a placeholder until we got ours!"

The woman's video panned to the temporary website address that she put as a "placeholder" - and forgot to remove before printing the final copy.

In fact, it included the URL to an erotic website, which she initially found "funny" once spotting the mistake.

Regardless, she quickly apologised to her family members as she vowed to change it.

Adding to her "very large mistake", the upcoming bride also used a placeholder for the location, which read as "Super Eight Motel" - and was also not removed.

"Cute detail card - love it! Love all of the details, I forgot I put the Super Eight Motel as a placeholder as well," she said. "And our cute wedding website again!"

"If you're a guest I promise I didn't book rooms at the Super Eight Motel.

"And if you're my mum, I'm sorry, I'll fix it! I think it's funny personally, but I don't think anyone else is going to think that it's funny, especially my family and [my fiance's] family.

"And literally anyone else, so sorry mum, I'll fix it." She vowed.

Rushing to the comment section, fellow TikTokers were in hysterics over the ordeal - but were keen to point out that the mishap wasn't as common as the bride may have originally thought.

"Something tells me this isn’t as common as you made it seem," one person joked. "Funny though."

"I promise you it's not as common as you think lol," another agreed.

"The way I gasped when I saw the website," a fourth penned beside an embarrassed emoji.
