Morrisons is extending its 10 per cent discount to NHS heroes until the end of September.
The discount was first introduced in April and gives key workers a discount on their grocery shopping during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The supermarket has announced it will extend the discount until September 30, when it will be reviewed once again.
For the first time, NHS workers will also be able to get the discount if they are doing a food shop online.
David Potts, Morrisons chief executive said: “We want to thank everybody in the National Health Service for playing their part in the ongoing battle against the coronavirus.
"We hope this measure combined with our dedicated hours for NHS staff will make life a little easier at this very challenging time for them.”
To benefit from the 10 per cent discount, staff need to present their NHS ID card in stores.
Morrisons has also introduced an NHS shoppinh hour, from 6am-7am every day.
On Sundays, the majority of stores will operate this hour from 9am instead.
