The Moroccan women’s national soccer team is on a historic journey, aiming to qualify for the Olympic Games after their groundbreaking debut in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. Coached by Jorge Vilda, the team boasts a talented roster with players who have experience from the 2022 African Cup of Nations and the recent World Cup.

Key players like Ghizlane Chebbak and Fatima Tagnaout have been instrumental in Morocco's success, with Chebbak being a standout performer and a women's soccer icon in the country. The team also includes players familiar with the European standard, such as Sarah Kassi, Jade Nassi, and Rosella Ayane.

As they prepare to face Zambia, a formidable opponent eager to secure a spot in the Olympic Games, Morocco is gearing up for a challenging duel. Zambia, led by star player Barbra Banda and featuring Racheal Kundananji, the most expensive female soccer player in history, poses a significant threat.

The upcoming matches between Morocco and Zambia will be crucial in determining which team advances on the road to the Paris 2024 Olympics. The two teams will clash on April 5 in Ndola and then on April 9 in Rabat, setting the stage for an intense competition.

If Morocco secures qualification, they will join Group B in the Olympic Games alongside powerhouse teams like the USA, Australia, and Germany. The Atlas Lionesses are determined to make history for women's soccer in their country, with a squad featuring talented players like Khadija Errmichi, Ines Arouaissa, and many others.

Jade Nassi, a rising star in French women's soccer, will now represent Morocco after playing for clubs like Stade de Reims and FC Nantes. With a mix of experienced players and promising talents, Morocco is poised to make a strong statement in their quest for Olympic qualification.
