If you thought The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives would wrap up quietly after that wild season two finale, think again. The drama is still piping hot, and this time, it’s Mayci Neeley and Dakota Mortensen going head-to-head — off the show and straight into the TikTok trenches.
“Her storyline is literally bashing me,” he told The Viall Files podcast host Nick Viall. “That’s what she does. It’s like, I’m Taylor’s friend, Dakota’s bad, and that is what she has ran with.”
He continued, “I just feel like she sits and just bashes me. 24/7.”

These two have been going at it since season one when Mayci flagged with Taylor Frankie Paul (the mother of Dakota’s child) Dakota was cheating on her.
And in case you were wondering if he’s holding a grudge, Dakota insisted, “I don’t not like anybody. I don’t not like people. Okay? I love people. I actually get along with Mayci when we hang out and we talk, and I’m around her.”
Mayci jumped into the TikTok comments with a response (now deleted) that was as direct as it was scathing:
“Gave him the benefit of the doubt so many times and again he has the same lies and behaviour. Of course he doesn’t like me, I call out his shit while he plays victim. Taylor isn’t perfect, but at least she takes accountability. With him it’s the same story over and over. Same wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
Respectfully, she ate.

She went on to call Dakota a “narcissist” in a comment on TikToker Stephanie Tleiji‘s video on the situation.

For those who need a refresher, in season one, Mayci was the one who received an anonymous tip about Dakota’s alleged cheating. She didn’t just sit on it, either — she tracked down Jenna Jarvis (the woman Dakota was seeing on the side) and even called her up on Taylor’s behalf.

In season two, the fallout from Dakota’s lies and cheating was even messier. Taylor, still reeling from the betrayal, met up with Jenna and Mayci to find out more about their realtionship with Dakota.
Dakota, for his part, spent most of season two in damage control mode. He admitted on The Viall Files that he’d made “dumb mistakes” and that his relationship with Taylor was “filled with tension from the start”.
By the end of season two, the group was still reeling from Dakota’s actions. Taylor and Dakota were officially not together, with Taylor telling PEOPLE in May, “I feel like right now we are individually working on ourselves and trying to heal, for not only ourselves, but for our son. So that’s been the main focus the last few months, last half of a year.”
Meanwhile, Mayci was on her own journey of healing, opening up about the father of her child passing away and celebrating her current pregnancy.
So there you have it, Dakota can complain all he wants about being Mayci’s storyline, but the facts are clear: if you keep giving people material, don’t be shocked when they use it.
