Morgan Launches New Three-Wheeler for $56,000

Those who had a three-wheeler as children know how much fun it is to drive such a vehicle in a small age. But once our childhood is over, we turn to a two-wheeled motorcycle or four-wheeled car.

Now, Morgan, the prestigious British motor company, decided to launch a new three-wheeler with no roof for adults. After 110 years of launching its first three-wheeler, and 10 years of releasing the last model of it, the British company unveiled its new motorcar named ‘Super 3’, the newest three-wheeled lightweight race motorcycle in the market, according to the German News Agency.

Unlike most children three-wheelers, Super 3 has the shape of a reversed triangle equipped with two wheels in the front, and one in the back.

Buyers should expect a vehicle with two aluminum seats, the body of a wingless fighter jet, and a thin waterproof cover instead of the conventional car roof. Super 3 is equipped with a front glass that serves as a windshield, so drivers can wear whatever they want, and they won’t need glasses.

The new three-wheeler is set to go on sale in mid-2022, with a starting price of 42,000 sterling pound ($56,000) in the UK. According to Morgan, Super 3 is powered by a Ford 1.3-liter, three-cylinder engine that delivers a peak 118 hp.

Although this engine can be seen as low-key for a race car, Morgan claims the motorcycle has a much better performance than its predecessors thanks to its light weight estimated at 635 kg, and a manual gearbox manufactured by Mazda.
