'The family are devastated': More NSW bushfire victims identified

Russell Souter, Julie Fletcher's neighbour, described her as a "quality person".

Two more victims killed in NSW's bushfire crisis have been identified as George Nole and Julie Fletcher.

Mr Nole's body was found in a car at the Kangawalla fire ground, near Glen Innes, in state's north.

Ms Fletcher's remains were found in a burnt-out building at Johns River, north of Taree, on Saturday afternoon.

She was 63.

Her neighbour Russell Souter told the ABC she was a "quality person".

"Her family has been in the area for generations and own quite a bit of land," he said.

"It is just a tragedy. I've spoken to her [Ms Fletcher's] sister.

"The family are devastated."

In tributes posted to Facebook, neighbours and friends described Mr Nole as creative and eccentric.

Mr Nole was a well-known figure in the Glen Innes community and was often seen cycling around town.

Residents of Wytaliba, near where he lived, called him a "true gentleman" who taught the town's young people about electronics and photography.

Authorities have so far confirmed three people died in the fires which have been burning at several locations in the past two days.

The third fire victim, 69-year-old Vivian Chaplain, had been trying to protect her home at Wytaliba.

It is understood the grandmother-of-six died in hospital on Saturday morning after being found with severe burns.

The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) said this number could rise.

Emergency services in NSW are bracing for more high-risk bushfire conditions — particularly on Tuesday — with areas around Sydney at risk.

Temperatures on Tuesday could hit the mid-30s with strong winds expected.

Residents of fire-affected areas have started assessing the damage, as they are let back into areas after being evacuated on Friday.
