Another person has been charged in connection to the murder of a man whose body was found under a tarp in a rural suburb.

The body of John Birch was found concealed under items on a property in Glenorie, in Sydney's north-west, on March 14, triggering a week-long manhunt.

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Queensland on Wednesday after police executed a search warrant at a home on Seaspray Drive in Agnes Water.

Police seized a number of items from the address which will be forensically examined.

The man was extradited back to NSW before being charged with accessory after the fact to murder and was denied bail.

The charges come after a 24-year-old man was arrested at a home on Meridan Avenue at Glenorie on March 23, 2025, before being charged with murder.

He remains before the courts.

A 35-year-old woman was previously charged with accessory after the fact to murder on April 4, 2025, and remains before the courts.
