Moment plane had rocky landing at Cork Airport during Storm Dennis

This is the moment a Ryanair plane touched down in Cork Airport this morning as the winds of Storm Dennis batter the county.

Met Eireann has issued two weather warnings for Cork - one for rain and one for wind - with gusts of up to 100km/h expected.

This footage from Twitter user @MichalMoch87 shows the wind and rain hammering away as the pilot makes a reasonably soft landing out at Farmer's Cross given the conditions.

A few nervous passengers can be heard onboard as the plane gets a bit shaky but the pilot brilliantly brings it level for a standard enough landing.

Although just looking out the window of the plane is probably enough to give some people the jitters.

Cork Airport have thus far had no complications with Storm Dennis and are expecting all flights in and out of the airport to go ahead as scheduled.

A spokesperson said: "Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for Ireland from 03:00 until 20:00 on Saturday, Feb 15, ahead of Storm Denis.

"Operations are expected to continue as normal Cork Airport and passengers should contact their airlines for the most up to date flight information."
