Molly-Mae Hague leaves hospital after 'tough week'

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she has spent time at a hospital after a "tough week".

The 21-year-old alerted her 4.8 million Instagram followers by posting a snap on her Instagram Story as she returned home in a taxi - but it's unclear if Hague is the one who has needed medical attention.

“On way back from hospital,” she wrote.

“This week hasn’t been easy. I’m going to talk about things soon.”

The social media influencer’s visit to hospital comes after Hague revealed she was getting a mole removed from her leg following a cancer scare.

Posting an image of the scar on her leg, Hague wrote: “So this is what I've been up to today... Some of you may remember me talking about the mole that was here a few weeks ago on my story.

“Not going to go into too much detail until I have my results back next week but this just goes to show how important getting different doctors' opinions is.

Fallen in love with Venice🕊

“So relieved to have it gone, I'll keep you all updated. I just need to share this because I can't stress the important of this situation enough.”

It’s been a difficult week for Hague, who has also found herself on the receiving end of criticism online after she said she thought the food in Italy was “shocking.”

After a holiday to Venice, Hague wrote on Instagram: “One thing I will say about Italy in general…the food is actually shocking? So controversial, I know but I’ve been a lot of times now to different parts and I’ve tried lots of different restaurants and I’m always so disappointed.

“It’s meant to be the home of pizza and pasta and I really can’t see how! Strange.”

The opinion saw Hague skyrocket to the top of Twitter trends as many took to social media to disagree with her.

Posting a snap on her Insta story about the debacle, she said, “remind me to never have an opinion again”, before adding on Twitter: “It’s the preaching about mental health day on Saturday and then continuing to unnecessarily rip into someone on Monday for me.”
