Molly-Mae Hague breaks social media silence as she responds to baby news

Molly-Mae Hague has broken her social media silence as fans wait for news of her baby's arrival. The former Love Island star, who expecting her first child with her boyfriend Tommy Fury, has kept a low profile on social media in the last week.

The loved-up couple, both 23, announced back in September that they were expecting a baby together, three years after meeting and falling in love on the ITV2 dating show before later revealing they were expecting a girl. Since the announcement, Molly-Mae has been keeping her loyal followers updated on her journey to becoming a first-time mum.

But the mum-to-be last posted on Instagram on January 20. Molly-Mae shared two snaps to her Instagram grid showing her donning a branded robe which showcased her blossoming baby bump. The influencer looked fresh-faced and showed off her natural locks after ditching her usual long, glossy extensions in preparation for becoming a mum.

"I really couldn’t have asked my body to provide a better home for the first 9 months of our little girls(sic) life…" Molly-Mae penned alongside her last Instagram post. "So blessed to say my pregnancy has been a complete and utter dream." Tommy was quick to respond to the post, simply writing: "Love you," while best pal Maura Higgins simply commented with a string of red hearts.

On Sunday (January 29), however, Molly-Mae returned to social media but not with a post of her own. The creative director of Pretty Little Thing was keen to share her congratulations to Kate Ferdinand who shared the joyous news that she was pregnant with her second child after suffering a tragic miscarriage last year.

Former reality star Kate, who shared two-year-old son Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand, took to her Instagram to confirm the happy news on Sunday morning (January 29). The 31-year-old, who married former footballer Rio in 2019, could be seen in a black and white video walking away from the camera.

The clip, set to Minnie Riperton's Lovin' You, then showed Kate turn around as she beamed for the camera before opening her coat and lovingly placing her hand on her blossoming baby bump as she sported a figure-hugging dress. Kate, who is stepmother to husband Rio's children Tate, 13, Lorenz, 15, and Tia, 11, captioned the heartwarming post: "We’ve been praying for you…" before quickly being flooded with congratulatory messages.

Molly-Mae wrote in the comments: "Congratulations Kate." While Michelle Keegan said: "Congratulations darling." Also congratulating the couple was Mrs Hinch, who replied: "Congratulations how amazing xxxx," and Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison, who said: "Omg babe! Congratulations."

While Molly-Mae hasn't been very active on social media, she did upload a new vlog to her YouTube channel earlier this week. In it, the mum-to-be could be seen packing her hospital bags - including a Louis Vuitton suitcase thought to be worth more than £2,000 - ahead of her daughter's arrival. But before sharing the contents within, Molly-Mae explained why she was packing 'so much'.

She shared how she has ditched Cheshire, where she lives with her boyfriend Tommy, to give birth in London. "I made the decision to bring a suitcase," she said. "I know I'm going to get so many comments like what on earth are you doing, you're packing too much, but I'm giving birth in London.

"I haven't spoken about this yet but I'm having baby girl in London. I'm hoping it will make sense as to why it may look like I'm packing excessively. We decided to have our birth there for privacy reasons and to try and make us feel the most comfortable and secure. The main reason is for privacy."
