Celtic will battle it out with Real Betis to sign Southampton winger Mohamed Elyounoussi on loan next season, according to a report.
The winger will be allowed to leave St Mary's on a temporary deal again with few clubs able to afford his high wages on a permanent deal.
He impressed at Celtic last season despite an injury-hit campaign and has been training with the Hoops since pre-season started.
His loan deal is officially up next week and he'll return to the south coast of England but he could quickly be back on his way to Glasgow.
Neil Lennon's men face big competition for him though with Real Betis also looking to take to the Spanish top flight.
Norwegian website VG Sport say a decision will come soon from Elyounoussi because he wants to plan quickly for next season.
He didn't join Celtic until late in the window last time around and it's reported that he wants a big pre-season to ensure he doesn't suffer the same injury issues again.
The winger made just 20 appearances for the Hoops before his spell was cut short by the coronavirus crisis.
That included seven goals but none of them came after November when injuries began taking a toll on him.
He had scored all seven in his first 10 games, with his last two coming in the Betfred Cup semi-final in a 5-2 win over Hibs.
