A model has revealed how her quest for the “perfect booty” led her to spend more than £7,000 on botched butt injections.
Influencer Danii Banks, 21, from the US, got hydrogel butt injections in Miami in 2014, setting her back almost £2,000.
Over the years she has had three more procedures and spent a total of $10,000 (£7,309).
But the results have been far from what she expected, as The Daily Star reports.
Danii, who has 6.5 million followers on Instagram, appeared on an episode of Botched, a TV series helping to reverse failed cosmetic surgeries.
She told her story to plastic surgeons Paul Nassif and Terry Dubrow.

Danii explained that after launching her own swimwear line, she felt increased pressure to have the “perfect booty”.
In the clip, the surgeons discussed her “buttock issue” – noting that she has some irregularities.

Danii explained that she had the injections instead of the pricier Brazilian butt lift procedure, and says she had them administered in the “basement of a medical spa”.
When the doctors asked if it was real hydrogel, Danii shrugged and claimed she didn't know.
She said: “They put two holes, one on each side of the cheek, and then filled up the big syringes – they were huge syringes."

The surgeons criticised the procedure and questioned the substance used – saying illegal alternatives can lead to “disastrous” results.
In Danii’s case, the crease under her right butt cheek has completely collapsed – something she is desperate to alter.

But the surgeons recommended she leave her buttocks be.
They explained: “You should not consider taking any amount of fat and putting it on top or mixing it in, layering it or anything.
“Fat injections in the buttock is the most dangerous procedure in all of plastic surgery because there’s a very short distance between those little blood vessels in the buttock and the main vein bringing blood back to your heart and lungs.
“If you get fat into there and it goes into your lungs? Game over.”
They warned she should avoid further procedures.
Danii responded to their advice, saying: “The doctors really gave me clarity today and a clear mind with the situation and I’m so happy to be a part of the big booty crew.”
However, she later revealed she is still considering more work.
“I still potentially might seek ways to fix the imperfections,” Danii said.
