Mo Gilligan to perform 'huge' show to thank NHS workers for coronavirus effort

Mo Gilligan has announced a special free show for NHS and key workers in the UK.

The comedian made the announcement after the release of his hit Netflix special, Momentum.

The filmed matinee show takes place at Eventim Apollo in London on 14 November, as part of Gilligan’s “There’s Mo To Life World Tour”.

The event is being billed as a “thank you” for the “phenomenal and continued hard work” by health workers in the battle against coronavirus.

Tickets will be made available on Monday 4 May, with limited availability from 10am, 1pm and 5pm to ensure key workers are able to access tickets in between shifts. Tickets will be available here.

Gilligan recently announced a new Channel 4 show, All Star Happy Hour with Mo Gilligan, a four-part series that launches next week at 10pm.

The show is a mix of sketches, musical skits and games where members of the public are given the chance to compete against celebrities and win different prizes.

The announcement comes after the BBC hosted Big Night In, a show that raised more than £67m for charities supporting those affected by coronavirus.
