Mistletown Christmas Festival coming to Dublin in December

The country’s largest indoor Christmas Festival will come to Dublin’s historic Fruit & Veg market in Dublin 7 this December.

Mistletown is a free public event and will offer the full festive experience in one of the city’s most iconic buildings, situated near Capel Street in Dublin city centre.

The festival will be held every weekend in December and in the days leading up to Christmas.

The 6,000 square metre indoor space will allow for physical distancing and the event will be subject to Government and HSE guidelines.

Mistletown will have something for people of all ages including food, craft and gift stalls.

Santa Claus will also pay a visit to the event and performers will take to the main stage to keep Mistletown visitors entertained.

The Vintage Funfair, located outside the main entrance, will feature a carousel and other classic fairground amusements.

Lord Mayor of Dublin Councillor Hazel Chu said: “Mistletown is a fantastic initiative, and presents an opportunity for attendees to enjoy a festive event in a safe and socially distant manner.”
