Missing person Patrick Joyce sparks PSNI appeal

Police are appealing for information to find a missing person from North Belfast.

49-year-old Patrick Joyce is around 5ft 6 and there are no details about what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Tennent Street officers made an appeal on Tuesday night on the Police North Belfast Facebook.

It read: "We need your help to find a missing person - he is 49 year old Patrick Joyce from the North Belfast area. He is around 5ft 6" tall.

"We have no other details about what he was wearing when last seen.

"If you see Patrick, or if you know where he is, please get in touch.

"999 in an emergency or 101 at all other times. Incident number 824 23/11/20."

Meanwhile, police have confirmed that a missing North Belfast woman has been found safe.

The PSNI had asked for assistance in locating Tara Andrews, 26, who they thought may be in the company of her four-year-old son Ronan.

Updating the appeal on Monday evening, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Update on missing person Tara Andrews.

"Tara and her son have been located safe and well. Thank you to everyone who assisted us. #WecareWelistenWeact."
