Missing girl, 17, found dead in Mathura

AGRA: A 17-year-old girl, who had been missing since Friday evening, was found dead in a field near Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Mathura’s Jaant area on Saturday.

Police suspect that she was strangled to death. Locals told police that the girl had gone to get ‘prasad 'from a nearby temple. When she did not return, her parents started searching for her but failed to locate her. On Saturday morning, her body was found in the vacant plot.
