She is the woman of the moment. Harnaaz Sandhu made the country proud by bringing back the Miss Universe crown. The 21-year-old from Chandigarh brought home the crown, two decades after Lara Dutta won the title in 2000. And now, the beauty with brains is visiting various cities in India as part of her Homecoming tour. After attending a success party in Mumbai and a couple of events, the beauty flew down to Delhi and received a roaring welcome at the Delhi Airport. The beauty queen looked summer ready in a flowy floral yellow dress. The dress had bow detailing on one side. Harnaaz teamed up the dress with flat sandals in nude and made for the perfect summer look.
We also spotted a heart-shaped pendant along with a gold chain on the diva. Her makeup was minimal as usual and as far as her hairstyle was concerned, she sported her trademark soft waves to perfection.
The beauty was delighted to meet her fans from all walks of life and posed away to glory with some lucky ones. The stunner will be attending numerous events, especially some related to the social causes that are close to her heart.
Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, along with social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham aka Pad Man, social impact agency DDB For Good, and the NGO Plan India on Tuesday announced a coalition and social impact alliance to create a platform for “menstrual equity”. The project aims to reach five million women by 2025. As Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz said it will convert “period poverty to period powerty”.
