Mini-fridge fires lead to over 100,000 recalls

• Epoca International has recalled approximately 110,000 Paris Hilton Mini Beauty Fridges due to a fire and burn hazard.
• The recall affects 4-liter and 10-liter models, sold at retailers like Walmart and Ross, and online from November 2022 through July 2025.
• The hazard is caused by an electric switch that can short-circuit, leading to overheating and potential fires.
• There have been 27 reported incidents of the mini-fridges overheating and catching fire, resulting in damage to the units and surrounding surfaces, though no injuries have been reported.
