Vandals have trashed a scout hall in West Lothian, smashing all of the windows in the building in a "mindless" spree.
The 6th West Lothian Scout Group in Broxburn found the hall had been badly damaged over the weekend.
As the scout group occasionally use their hall for indoor camping with the children, they say the results could have been disastrous.
Beaver and cub scout sessions for younger children are also held in the building.
The group posted on Facebook saying: "We are so disappointed that over the weekend our scout hall was vandalised. All the windows smashed in.
"Such an act of thoughtlessnes... we occasionally camp inside the hall... the what ifs are countless!
"It is sad that someone would do this to a charity building, run by volunteers, when we were trying to improve the building and make it better for the community!"
Scout leaders intend to carry on with their meetings and say they will not be stopped by the "mindless vandals."
