A driver was pulled over by police and was found to have a car stuffed full of stolen chocolate and coffee.
The driver was arrested by Merseyside Police's road policing unit after he had helped himself to treats including Milkybars, Curlywurlys and Caramac bars. Police released a tongue-in-cheek statement following the arrest.
In a tweet they said: "This milky bar kid wasn't strong or tough enough to escape #syn3 despite his best attempts, they weren't good enough. Arrested for theft and a second high valued offence. He will spend the evening in our cells and the items returned to the store they were stolen from!"
