Mike Tindall shares hilarious pic of himself celebrating Jubilee in unusual attire

Mike Tindall shows off a strong new look in a hilarious photo shared on Instagram.

The 2003 Rugby World Cup winner attended yesterday’s Trooping the Colour event with wife Zara.

The Queen’s granddaughter stunned in a £450 dress with a matching Juliette Botterill floral blossom percher' hat.

Mike, 43, couldn’t resist getting in on the act as he later posed in the headpiece to the delight of his wife.

He shared on his Instagram story: “When the husband has hat envy.”

He added a more serious post congratulating her majesty on reaching the incredible milestone.

Mike wrote: “Great start to the day, thanks to the @thestaffordlondon for having the family.

"Also great work by @westcontempeditions raising money for @gosh.charity

“Really looking forward to the next four days and celebrating one of the greatest women on this planet. #platinumjubilee #thequeen .”

The couple’s daughter, Mia, was later seen playing fisticuffs with Princess Charlotte as they watched the military parade at Horse Guards Parade for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Afterwards, Princess Charlotte could be seen standing with her younger brother Prince Louis as he made a salute, while Princess Beatrice was also on hand to point out what was happening.

It came after cheers went up from thousands of spectators on The Mall as they caught sight of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with proud parents Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall in a carriage.

The traditional carriage procession left Buckingham Palace ahead of Trooping the Colour, also known as the Birthday Parade – the start of four days of festivities honouring the Queen.

Earlier this month Mike Tindall admitted he had to have plastic surgery to his nose after repeated rugby blows had left him unable to breathe normally.

The former rugby player, 43, broke his nose at least eight times during his 12-year sporting career.

Appearing on Loose Women’s special all-male panel, Mike said he finally had corrective surgery to straighten his nose after years of sinus problems.

Host Vernon Kay said to Mike: “Your nose job was for purpose though wasn't it?

"Your nose was literally underneath your left eye from rugby. It wasn't just for looks you had it done?”

Laughing, Mike replied: “No, I was stopping breathing during sleep so it needed to be done.”

He then added: “I also had my teeth done but that was because they were crossed and looked like a bag of chips.”
