Mics caught Mike Tomlin talking about how the Steelers would stay aggressive to ice Seahawks win

Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin wasn’t about to play it conservatively as his team was about to get a big 30-23 road win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

With a victory helping notch yet another winning season for Pittsburgh under Tomlin, the Steelers coach decided to play it aggressively and call a pass play for wide receiver George Pickens to ice the Week 17 contest.

Mics caught Tomlin openly processing his decision, and it’s just so cool to hear how a coach justifies keeping the foot on the gas and see it immediately get rewarded on the field. You’ve got to check this one out.

Steelers fans have to be really happy to have Tomlin in their corner in moments like this, as a conservative play call could’ve backfired spectacularly for Pittsburgh.

However, the Steelers didn’t let up. As the old saying goes, fortune favors the bold. It certainly favored Pittsburgh last weekend.
