- Proposals for 110 luxury flats were initially rejected by Wandsworth Council and the Greater London Authority in 2025.
- A planning inspector has now dismissed an appeal by developers Rockwell Property, ruling that the project would be detrimental to the local area's appearance and heritage.
- The inspector said that the building would cause a “dramatic change to the skyline” and appear “alien and isolated”, a decision Rockwell Property expressed disappointment over.
