Last season began with a shocking loss by the Spartans to Arizona State in Tempe, now, Michigan State will have a chance to avenge that loss in East Lansing and they are currently a 10.5-point favorite to win, according to vegasinsider.com.
Arizona State has beaten their opponents without much drama, knocking off Kent State in week one 30-7 and then Sacramento State on Friday 19-7.
Michigan State has put up two really impressive wins thus far, first against Tulsa 28-7 and then last night against Western Michigan 51-17.
While I agree with the betting line and expect Michigan State to win this game, this will almost certainly be a tougher outing than the Spartans have had to face in weeks one and two, but I am confident that the team is not lacking for motivation after last year’s close loss to the Sun Devils.
