Michigan State football loses PWO to Mississippi Valley State

In-state offensive lineman Devin Runnels was set to come to Michigan State as a preferred walk-on. The 6-foot-6, 330-pound lineman had the perfect body type for offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic to work with. Runnels ability was raw tho, and he was going to need some much fine-tuning in order to be game-ready.

Runnels will not be attending Michigan State anymore, he announced via Twitter, but instead received and accepted a full-ride scholarship to play for Missippi Valley State University, an HBCU that plays at the FCS level.
