Man City boss Pep Guardiola has been backed to get the better of PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino in the Champions League tonight (Wednesday).
The two sides will do battle at the Etihad Stadium knowing that a win will secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages.
Pochettino brings the French giants to Manchester under a cloud, as the Manchester Evening News understands Manchester United are keen to appoint the Argentine as their new manager.
Despite refusing to be drawn on the reports in yesterday's pre-match press conference, it is understood Pochettino, too, is keen on the move.
As such, Guardiola and Pochettino could well be set to become cross-city rivals and much of the focus this evening will be on which manager will get the better of the other in the tactical battle.
Certainly, that is the view of former United forward Michael Owen, who feels City will just about have enough to come out on top against les Parisiens.
"With both sides having so much going forward I'm hoping for an exciting match," Owen told BetVictor.
"However, I think it will probably end up as a tactical battle between both managers.
"It will no doubt be tight, but PSG have been too inconsistent for me this season so I'm siding with City to win 2-1."
