Mexico boss Javier Aguirre will turn to his secret weapon in their battle to beat England in the World Cup....he loves Lagavulin whisky.
And he's revealed he's desperate for a new supply of the Islay single malt after running out of his personal supply of Scotch.
England travel to Mexico City for the Last 16 clash against the co-hosts next week and will face the in-form Mexicans, who have won every game in the tournament without conceding a goal.
They are managed by 67-year-old former Atletico Madrid boss Aguirre, who is now on his third stint as manager of Mexico.
And, after they eliminated Ecuador from the Round of 32, he revealed how he turns to Scotland's most famous export after games.
Aguirre said: "A Lagavulin. That's the only thing I'm missing today. And I don't have any in my room—I ran out. Oh well."
The ex-Japan, Egypt, Espanyol and Real Zaragoza manager has also previously spoken about the preference for the peaty whisky, which began distilling on Islay in 1816.
After a win with Real Mallorca in his last club job before returning to international football management, Aguirre said: "I love Lagavulin. It's my all-time favourite drink and it helps me sleep after a game.
"And it has to be the eight-year-old Lagavulin too."
An eight-year-old bottle of Lagavulin - described as a 'robust, highly-peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky, which offers an intensely smoky, maritime flavour profile with sweet spice and a crisp, dry finish' is currently retailing for around £60.
