'Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater' Size Revealed: Requirement for Upcoming Remake Is Massive

Konami is close to releasing "Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater" and they have officially revealed the game's size and system requirements. However, the game's size is not for the faint-hearted as it requires a huge amount of space.

"Meta Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater" is the remake of the well-loved 2004 game "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater."

'Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater' Size Revealed

The official Steam listing of "Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater" has now revealed the game's size. On the page, the game was revealed to need 100 GB available space as its minimum and recommended system requirement in terms of storage for the PC platform.

It should be noted that Steam reflects PC requirements, and there are no official confirmations for the Xbox Series S and X, as well as the PlayStation 5.

It is also important to note that the original game came from the legendary director and writer, Hideo Kojima, who was still working with Konami for the "Metal Gear" series until their last one from 2015.

That being said, this new "Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater" is also an important release as the franchise has stayed stagnant over the past decade since Kojima left the team.

Requirements for 'MGS3' Remake Are Massive

According to ComicBook Gaming, a requirement of 100 GB in storage space for a game means that it brings a substantial amount of experiences to fans and new-gen gamers. Moreover, it is also important to note that this means that this upcoming game is not small, but there are no exact details on what Konami has added or subtracted from the original.

It is also expected, based on Konami's shared content, that they blended or integrated much of the gameplay from "Metal Gear Solid V" into "MGS Delta: Snake Eater," featuring modern experiences for all.

"Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater" is expected to arrive on August 28.
