It has forecasted heavy rain this evening, continuing at times overnight which may lead to some disruption in places.

These are the areas in Scotland that are covered by the yellow warning:

Central, Tayside & Fife

  • Dundee
  • Fife
  • Perth and Kinross

Grampian

  • Aberdeenshire

The Met Office says that the showers will merge into some longer spells of rain across parts of eastern Scotland on Wednesday evening and then again overnight.
