Met Office issues pollen warning for Leeds in Thursday weather forecast

Temperatures will be high in Leeds on Thursday. The Met Office has predicted high temperatures of 24C during the afternoon, with minimum temperatures reaching 14C.

The day will start off with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, before an overcast sky is forecast around 9am.

Heading into the early afternoon there will be a mix of sunny intervals and cloud changing to largely sunny by around 3pm.

From 3pm onwards, temperatures will continue to rise, reaching highs of 24C around 4pm.

In its summary of the weather across Yorkshire on Thursday, the Met Office says: Fine and dry on Thursday. Fairly cloudy at first but some large amounts of sunshine in the afternoon. Feeling warm in the light winds. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

On Friday the Met Office forecast says: "Variable cloud through the outlook period though most parts dry and fine with lengthy clear or sunny spells. Temperatures around average, breezy near the coast."
