Met office hour-by-hour weather forecast for Nottinghamshire as 'heavy snow' batters county

Nottinghamshire residents will have opened their eyes to blankets of snow this morning (March 10) - and more is expected to fall across the county, with a yellow weather warning in place until 2pm. Yesterday (March 9) brought mass disruption to transport services and flight delays and authorities have warned today could be more of the same.

Forecasters have issued the warning, advising people to expect disruption due to the weather conditions. Heavy snow has the potential to cause disruption to traffic on roads - stranding some vehicles and passengers.
