A lot of rain is on its way to Bristol - with rain being forecast every day between Sunday (September 4) and next Wednesday (September 7). According to the Met Office, it will stay dry in the city from today (September 1) until Saturday (September 3).
The rain will start on Sunday morning, with heavy rain being predicted between 10am and 1pm. It will then turn to a light shower, followed by some dry, cloudy weather in the afternoon.
However, this won't last long and the light showers will return at 7pm on Sunday. It will then continue raining for more than 24 hours until 10pm on Monday, with the rain being heavy at times.

On Tuesday, it will start to rain at 10am and will continue until 10pm. The Met Office is forecasting light showers for most of the day, but there could be some heavy rain between 4pm and 7pm.
Looking at Wednesday, the Met Office is predicting it will start to rain at 7am and it will then continue until 10pm. The rain will be heavy between 4pm and 7pm.

Some bright spells to end the day but generally cloudy skies overnight with a chance of showers, these locally quite heavy. The cloud cover will keep temperatures in double figures. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Friday
A cooler and cloudier day is expected with a chance of showers, these possibly heavy in places. Feeling warm in any sunshine, most likely in the west. Generally light winds. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday
Becoming increasingly unsettled with heavy bands of rain slowly moving across the region and showers in-between. Possible surface water flooding in places. Feeling warm in any sunshine. Breezy at times.
