Met Eireann has forecast glorious weather for the coming week with temperatures expected to soar across the country.
The rest of the weekend will be quite unsettled in many areas with plenty of clouds and drizzle expected, however, from next week it will begin to pick back up again.
According to the latest forecast, on Monday most of the country will experience dry weather with spells of warm sunshine.
There is a minor chance of a few showers moving in from the Irish Sea which will hit some southeastern counties, and possibly some on the northwestern coasts.
Temperatures will range from 18 to 22 degrees, but it’s expected to be cooler at the coast “due to brisk onshore breezes”.
Tuesday then looks set to be mostly dry and warm once again with spells of hazy sunshine.
The cloudiest counties will be in south Leinster and Munster where there is a small chance of light showers.
Top temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees are forecast, but again, it will be less warm along some coasts “due to onshore northerly winds”.
Wednesday is then expected to be another mostly dry and fine summer's day with lots of sunshine and high temperatures.
Met Eireann has predicted a few light showers may break out during the day, but temperatures are set to soar between 20 and 24 degrees in moderate northeasterly breezes.
Early indications for Thursday suggest the fantastic weather will continue with some variable cloud cover, and the potential for some well-scattered showers, however, most counties will see lots of sunny spells and highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees.
