Messages of support have flooded in for the family of a "lovely lad" killed in a crash.

Merseyside Police confirmed they are still appealing for information following a fatal crash on Regent Road in Vauxhall yesterday. Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash involving a motorbike and a car at the junction of Boundary Street and Regent Road at around 6.20pm on Tuesday, September 6.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, suffered serious injuries and was treated by members of the public before paramedics arrived at the scene. He was then taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
