Men with weapons bring traffic to standstill as brawl breaks out in West Dublin

Traffic was at a standstill in West Dublin on Wednesday after a shocking brawl broke out in the middle of the road.

Horrified motorists were left sitting as four people pulling at eachother and throwing punches on the Fonthill Road.

A video from the scene shows two women punching eachother while two other men can be seen holding weapons squaring off.

Footage shows three young children clinging onto the back of moving Dublin Bus in Finglas

They're later seen throwing punches on a green area beside the road as cars beep at them to stop.

It's not clear how the incident started.

A garda spokesperson said they had no record of the incident.
