Meghan Markle unveils radiant new look in first appearance since Coronation decision

Meghan Markle has unveiled a radiant new look in her first appearance since confirming she would not be joining Prince Harry at the King's Coronation next month.

The Duchess of Sussex was seen with a sleek, straightened hairstyle as she introduced friend and photographer Misan Harriman at a Ted Talk on Sunday.

In the video call, which was projected onto a big screen, her usually wavy and dark brown hair appeared to be a lighter colour with reddish hues.

Meghan, who accompanied the dewy look with a rosy cheek, light brown eyeshadow and pink lip gloss, told the audience: "Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph.

"I’ve experienced his talent first-hand as he has captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family, and I know there are many others who share in this experience.

"His lens has photographed everything from events that have changed the world, invisible moments we all desperately needed to see, along with some of the planet’s most recognisable faces.

"But, this was not always his path and you might be surprised to hear not who but what he credits for his success. I am so thrilled to welcome to the TED stage my dear friend, Misan Harriman."

Misan has snapped many photos of the Sussexes over the years, including a sweet picture of Lilibet to mark her first birthday.

As well as her Ted Talk appearance, Meghan was also spotted at a basketball game in LA this week.

She was accompanied by Prince Harry and an entourage of staff who work for their charitable foundation Archewell, as well as on other projects.

Among those joining them was Rick Genow, a top Hollywood attorney, who was seen sitting in the seat next to Meghan in the Crypto.com arena.

He has handled Meghan's legal affairs for several years and works for the powerhouse firm Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher.

Also sitting with the couple was Andrew Meyer, Meghan's business manager, who has worked for the Duchess for many years - even before she married Harry.

Others there included Maren Thomas, who works in Archewell's communications department and Miranda Barbot, who also works in communications for the couple and previously helped to re-elect Barack Obama.

The outing was the first time that Harry and Meghan have been seen in public together since announcing their Coronation plans.

It was announced that Harry would be attending the Coronation of his father King Charles on May 6 - but Meghan would be staying behind in California with Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, whose birthday lands on the same day.

The Archewell statement read: "The Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."

A Palace spokesperson said: "Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.

"The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet."

Harry's attendance will see him appear in a public setting with Charles, Camilla, William, Kate and the rest of his family for the first time since the release of his memoir Spare.

His upcoming appearance will also be the first time that he has been pictured with the Windsors since the funeral of his grandmother, the late Queen.

While Harry is in the UK, Meghan will be back home having an 'intimate' birthday party for Prince Archie.

Harry will only be making a 'brief' visit for the Coronation ceremony itself and will then dash back to celebrate his son's fourth birthday with his family.
