Meghan Markle's new agent confirms deal with sweet message and stunning photo

Meghan Markle has signed up with William Morris Endeavor (WME), a Hollywood talent agency that has represented major stars including Dwayne Johnson, Adele, and tennis player Serena Williams.

The Duchess of Sussex's team will include Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, as well as agents Brad Slater and Jill Smoller.

WME will also represent Archewell, Prince Harry and Meghan's content creation label.

The announcement comes a week ahead of King Charles' Coronation, which Harry confirmed he will be attending while Meghan stays at home in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The agency is expected to work with the duchess on film and TV production, brand partnerships and overall business-building - but will not focus on acting.

Announcing the news this morning, WME tweeted a photo of a beaming Meghan wearing a black and white off the shoulder dress.

It wrote: "We are honored to announce that WME now represents Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex in all areas.

"The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency & its broader ecosystem, including film & television production, brand partnerships & more."

The announcement, reported by Variety, followed previous suggestions that Meghan could turn back to her acting career, with the Duke of Sussex also facing the possibility of taking on an unexpected new role.

Speaking in the Channel 5 documentary Harry and Meghan: What Next?, royal correspondent Simon Vigar speculated: "I wonder whether Meghan will go back to acting.

"That's the obvious thing for her."

He added: "Harry could easily be a presenter of wildlife documentaries. He has the knowledge, he has the passion."

A leading PR expert previously told the Mirror that Meghan could star in "some prominent Hollywood roles" thanks to her new connections.

The Duchess gained prominence starring as Rachel Zane on Suits and previously hired Hollywood dealmaker Adam Lilling, according to reports.

Media and PR coach Mayah Riaz said at the time: "By hiring Adam Lining, known as Hollywood’s 'fixer', Meghan could be looking for a career in Hollywood.

"Acting is what she's trained in, therefore, it's viable she may have a cameo in a film or even TV."

However, the PR expert said fans are unlikely to see Meghan in any "longer commitment roles".

She said: "I doubt she would go back to any longer commitment roles such as Suits or any other TV series."

The Mirror has reached out to WME and Archewell for comment.
