Meghan Markle's first boyfriend refuses to accept claims that she bullied royal aides.
Josh Silverstein says he "can't personally see” the Duchess of Sussex mistreating Palace staff members, as reported by The Times on March 2.
But he does feel she "probably refused to fall into line" with royal expectations.
The allegations involve two senior members of staff who claimed that they were bullied by the Duchess. Another former employee allegedly claimed they had been “humiliated” by Meghan.
The Palace has confirmed they have launched an inquiry and she has reportedly requested to see emails, documents, or texts linked to the complaint.
Now, her childhood sweetheart insists his former girlfriend is not a bully.

In an interview with US Weekly, the rapper said: “I see her doing whatever it is she feels like she should do in order to be happy and coexist within a system that has probably not been very welcoming to who she is and where she comes from.
"When you find women of colour — particularly black women — standing up for themselves and speaking out and speaking against what they feel is disrespect or oppression, often times whiteness tends to classify that in negative ways because they don’t want that to happen.
"It’s almost like people are expected to know their place and whenever they don’t fall in line with that, then people say it’s a problem.”
Meghan's representative said at the time: “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.”

The spokesperson added that the 39-year-old “is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”
Silverstein yesterday told the publication that her relationship with her father Thomas was clearly ‘complicated’.
He met the Duchess at a church summer camp when they were teenagers. Thomas, 76, has not spoken to his daughter since 2018, according to reports.
Meghan opened up about their innocent summer camp romance in an interview back in 2013.

She told chat show host Larry King that she made the first move, saying: "I was 13, it was a summer camp and I kissed him!"
Silverstein previously told the Daily Mail about their romance.
"We were together every day, we spoke on the phone a lot, we held hands and shared kisses," he said in an interview before she married Prince Harry.
"I obviously don't remember 'the kiss'- but I do know that I was the first guy she kissed. She was a nice, kind, sweet girl. We, in some ways, just felt a sense of attraction to each other."
Both regular attendees at their local Agape Spiritual Church in Santa Monica, the pair's puppy love romance began when the church held a theatre summer camp in 1993.
They bonded over being mixed race, with both being the children of white fathers and black mothers, he said.
