Meghan Markle is said to have made the Queen "giggle" while the two embarked on a Royal trip to Liverpool City Region together back in 2018.
The Duchess was accompanied by her late grandmother-in-law to the opening ceremony of the new Mersey Gateway Bridge. The pair could be seen sharing a heart-warming moment during their official engagements.
It came just weeks after Meghan married Prince Harry, and the Duchess appeared to get along swimmingly with Queen Elizabeth II.

A news clip in the new Netflix series Harry & Meghan sees the event discussed. Viewers are told Meghan had “had the Queen in stitches” and “you rarely see the Queen giggle".
At the ceremony, the late Queen appeared in good spirits, with photos taken at the opening showing her beaming from ear to ear, while Meghan leaned over to share something with her. As previously reported, it looked like the Royals were sharing a private joke as they sat watching the opening ceremony, with Meghan and the Queen both boasting massive smiles.
After officially opening the Mersey Gateway Bridge, the monarch and her granddaughter-in-law left for Storyhouse in Chester and then walked to Chester Town Hall where attended a lunch as guests of Chester City Council.
