Meghan Markle was reportedly given a detailed guide about being a duchess and her new royal role before marrying Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex has claimed she did not have adequate preparation for her new role as a royal.
It has now emerged Prince Harry's former private secretary, Ed Lane Fox, known as 'Elf' is said to have provided Meghan with an 'information sheet' beforehand.
The dossier covered fashion, the royal family, heads of departments, ladies-in-waiting, UK arts, the Charity Commission and public life.
Meghan complained about her lack of knowledge about what a walkabout entailed, how to curtsey and even Googling the national anthem in Sussex's controversial Netflix docuseries.

She told the £88million streaming show: "Joining this family, I knew that there was a protocol for how things were done.
"I remember that old movie Princess Diaries with Anne Hathaway.
"There’s no class or some person who goes ‘sit like this’, ‘cross your legs like this’, ‘use this fork’, ‘don’t do this’, ‘curtsey then’, ‘wear this kind of hat’.
"It doesn’t happen. So I needed to learn a lot.”

In The Times a source insisted there was run throughs for every aspect of royal life.
They said: "There was prep for everything, walkabouts — even though she was engaged to someone who’d done hundreds of them — clothes, everything. The level of support was intense."
And later added: "It was huge. The amount of work Elf put into getting her access to anyone, and he gave her books on the stuff."

The Duchess is believed to have had two meetings with experts including the late-Queen's private secretary Lord Christopher Geidt.
Another was said to be a "very well-connected, trusted fashion person" who provided advice on what Meghan should wear.
Three episodes of the Harry & Meghan show were made available on Thursday and another three will be available for streaming next Thursday.

The show was a hit in the UK ratings but did not travel well among US critics.
Many Brits now want the pair to be stripped of their royal titles since its release.
The Royal Family were reportedly "in a state of sadness " after a wave of astonishing attacks in the programme.
The Mirror reported yesterday how Harry and Meghan are completely out of touch for releasing "six hours of whining" while the UK is in the grip of a cost-of-living crisis, a royal expert claimed.

Jennie Bond slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s long-awaited £100million Netflix series as “utterly self-indulgent and terribly timed”, coming at a time when people are being forced to choose between heating or eating.
The former BBC royal correspondent told the Sunday People : “They live in a Californian mansion with two gorgeous children and a fantastic lifestyle while the rest of us are worrying about whether we can turn a radiator on. Why can’t they just go away and enjoy themselves?

“It is utterly self-indulgent and terribly timed when people are choosing between heating or eating in the middle of winter. And they are releasing six hours of whining.
"They put themselves forward publicly as advocates of healing when all they are doing is hurting people. There is nothing healing about this. And judging by the trailers, it will only get worse.”
