Fans are continuing to rally behind Megan Thee Stallion after she broke down in tears on the Moulin Rouge! The Musical stage following the demise of her relationship with Klay Thompson.
Over the weekend, the internet descended into chaos after the “Plan B” singer confirmed that she and Klay were no longer together.
However, things took an extremely emotional turn after footage of the singer crying while closing out Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Saturday (US time) surfaced on social media.
In the video, shared by Christian (@christian760h), Megan can be seen wiping away tears while performing as the Zidler in the iconic show.
“We love you!” a fan can be heard screaming as the “Savage” singer wiped her tears to a standing ovation.
Alongside the standing ovation, many Hotties (the stan name for Megan’s fans, BTW) flocked to the comments to show the rapper some love, with the video copping more than 1.3 million views.
“Bad bi*ches have bad days too, sister,” one fan penned.
“I hope Klay’s pillow will always be hot on BOTH sides,” another wrote.
“Almost every girl knows what it’s like to be totally heartbroken and still have to go to work,” commented a third.
Megan’s emotional Moulin Rouge! The Musical performances come on the heels of her scathing Instagram post, where she claimed the NBA Champ had cheated on her during their relationship.
“Cheating, had me around your family playing house… got ‘cold feet’,” Megan claimed.
“Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season, now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous’???? B*tch, I need a REAL break after this one… Bye y’all.”
In a separate statement to E! News, Megan confirmed the end of their relationship, announcing that she will be “taking this time to prioritise” herself and that she will “move ahead with peace and clarity”.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” she dished.
“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.”
Klay and Megan were first romantically linked back on July 9, 2025, before the basketballer soft-launched their relationship days later with a cheeky kiss on the grid.
The pair then made their relationship public on July 16 via red carpet debut at the Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala. From there, their relationship seemed to be going strong, with Klay naming his boat after her, and Megan dropping “Lover Girl” with him in mind.
But unfortunately, from Megan’s perspective, it looks like their relationship truly crashed and burned.
While the cheating allegations have yet to be confirmed, I will say… I’m rooting for my hottie, MEGANNNN!
