It might not even be December yet, but one Wigan man has really got himself into the Christmas spirit.
Mike Denaro has transformed his Wigan property into a winter wonderland ahead of the festive season.
The home, on Fairman Drive in Hindley, can be found adjourned with cherry blossom trees, a wishing well, a cast iron post-box, acrylic kit figures and more than 5,000 LED lights.
Mike, who spent around two weeks decorating the home, has spent around £2,000 on the ornaments in total.
A snow cannon which covers the garden in fake foamy snow looks like something straight out of a Lapland scene.
And although Christmas is more than a month away, around 200 people have already turned out to marvel at his efforts.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News , Mike said: “Father Christmas hasn’t been yet – he pulls the crowds in, with nearly 500 on one night last year!
“I do this for a few reasons. I love Christmas! I raise for the Hospice as it’s somewhere most families in the Wigan area have had interactions with.
“I officially volunteer with them now, giving up my time to help with graphic design, videography and marketing.
“So far, there’s a bucket full of cash been raised.”
