Meet Britain's next top models: Libby Bennett, Calum Harper, Rubuen Bilan-Carroll, Bebe Parnell and more

Rubuen Bilan-Carroll - (Burberry)

You wanna be on top? The UK has produced some of the greatest models the world has ever seen. You know them, but for the fun — we’ve got Twiggy from Middlesex, Kate Moss from Croydon, Naomi Campbell from Streatham, Lily Cole from Torquay and Cara Delevingne from Hammersmith. Each season, a new flock of towering, glass-skinned beauties rises.

What makes a star? Sarah Doukas, founder of Storm Management, who scouted Moss herself, says, “We look for someone who can tell a story through emotion and attitude, bringing real personality to each frame. Great models bring presence, energy and storytelling that makes an image come alive. They also understand fashion and people, and they have an ability to lose themselves in front of the camera and connect deeply with the audience.”

Here are the new names to note.

Charlie Jones

(Tom Ford)

The 18-year-old from Oldham recently finished his A-levels but has already opened Haider Ackermann’s inaugural show at Tom Ford and is walking for the biggest houses in the business — Schiaparelli, Isabel Marant, Givenchy, Hermès; you name it. He followed in Moss’s footsteps by landing the cover of The Face for autumn 2025. The magazine reports he travels with a phone charger, vape, wallet and Monster energy drink. Relatable.

Libby Bennett

(McQueen)

Dubbed “the new Cara Delevingne”, 19-year-old Bennett hails from Saddleworth, near Manchester, and is already turning heads. With blonde hair, green eyes and a 5ft 10in frame, she has walked for Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, Hermès and Versace. In May, she secured the British Vogue headline “Libby Bennett Is Britain’s Next Top Model” (not shabby) after walking Chanel’s cruise catwalk. “I still don’t feel like ‘a model’, to be honest,” she told the publication. “I just put on a persona when the designers want me to play a role.”

Calum Harper

A TikTok star turned modelling sensation. Harper, 23, is originally from Gloucester, represented by M Management, and currently living it up in New York City. With red hair and extraordinary cheekbones, he first walked a runway in 2022 for Mithridate and has since appeared for Gucci, Hermès, Zegna and Tommy Hilfiger. You’ll find him at society events in London and entertaining his 1.8 million Instagram and 2.7 million TikTok followers with behind-the-scenes insight into life as a fast-rising model. Keep it up.

Dana Smith

(McQueen)

Smith, 21, who was born in Bristol and grew up in New Delhi, joined Storm Management after her mother submitted pictures of her when she was 14. Doukas praises her: “Dana is just the coolest girl … one of those great editorial models today who have more than just a beautiful face; they are magnetic characters.” The model, fluent in Hindi, debuted on the Loewe spring/summer 2022 runway and has walked for Chanel, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Valentino and Alexander McQueen as well as appearing in British and Italian Vogue.

Rubuen Bilan-Carroll

(Burberry)

There is hardly a catwalk that Haringey’s Bilan-Carroll missed during the spring/summer 2026 season — from Louis Vuitton and Jean Paul Gaultier to Thom Browne and Burberry. The latter have tapped him to be the face of their campaigns — you might recognise the 23-year-old from posters. His brown eyes and fresh face have won him the cover of Vogue Korea and countless other campaigns.

Bebe Parnell

Bebe Parnell (Bebe Parnell)

The half-Caribbean, half-British star from Birmingham was scouted in Bicester Village at 14. She’s now studying at Oxford while fronting campaigns for Phoebe Philo, Victoria Beckham and Chloé. She was a standout at the most recent Paris Fashion Week, walking for Balenciaga, Chloé, Mugler, Victoria Beckham, Dries Van Noten, Hermès, Sacai, Coperni and Scene Studies — do keep up. Books are her first love, however. “I think it’s really important that we work our hardest so people from non-traditional and disadvantaged backgrounds can access the same opportunities that many are so privileged to have,” she says.

Lux Gillespie

(Burberry)

He might just be the most-booked model at Kate Moss Agency — save for Kate and Lila. Lux is the son of Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie and Katy England, stylist and long-term collaborator of Alexander McQueen. With a gothic pale complexion and tumbling dark locks, the 22-year-old was a catwalk mainstay for spring/summer 2026, turning heads at the Burberry show in Kensington Gardens. He has Miu Miu and Gucci campaigns under his studded belt and has appeared in US Vogue and The Face.

Alva Claire

The hotshot model from Herne Hill has returned home after a few highly successful years in the Big Apple. Now 34, she rose to prominence after walking for Savage x Fenty in 2019 and made history in Versace’s spring/summer 2021 show as one of the first curve models. Her career has included campaigns for Calvin Klein, Burberry, and Jean Paul Gaultier and covers for Elle and Perfect Magazine.

Joshua Lord

(Dave Benett)

The hunk of the London Fashion Week catwalk, Lord, 25, has turned heads walking for Di Petsa and Maximilian Raynor. He was born and raised in north London, but lived in Stockholm from 12; his mother is Swedish and father Nigerian-Maltese. With his bodybuilder frame and love of wearing sparkling suits at Perfect Magazine parties, he is not easy to miss.
