Meet Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast' in new TDL attraction

URAYASU, Chiba -- Oriental Land Co. has announced details of new attractions to be opened at Tokyo Disneyland on April 15 next year.

One of the new attractions is themed to Disney's movie "Beauty and the Beast" and takes guests into scenes depicting the story of heroine Belle and the Beast in a 30-meter-tall castle.

At Fantasyland Forest Theatre, which can accommodate about 1,500 people, Mickey Mouse and his friends perform an authentic 25-minute-long show in "Mickey's Magical Music World," making full use of the extensive stage equipment.

The other new attractions include The Happy Ride with Baymax, where robots pull vehicles carrying guests whirling around in unexpected ways.
