Media Talk: Obama mania

This week's ingredients include: Swearing.

On this week's podcast, we look back at the media coverage of the US elections, from a US and UK perspective. Maggie Brown and Owen Gibson stayed up for most of the night between them, and share their highlights and lowlights, including the CNN hologram. Anna Pickard, who live blogged the TV coverage for guardian.co.uk, joins us on the line from San Francisco.

Jane Bruton, editor of Grazia magazine, was named the editors' editor of the year at the British Society of Magazine editors awards - she joins us on the the line from the Westfield shopping centre in London, where the team is editing this week's edition.

We also take a look at the news that Virgin and Sky have made up after their year-long spat, which means Sky channels will now be available to Virgin customers. And Michael Grade, the ITV executive chairman, talks about his distaste for the f-word.
