McDonald's lovers have already been hit with a blow this week after the fast-food giant revealed it has been hit by a nationwide shortage of milkshakes.
But fans have now been dealt a second hit as the well-loved chain revealed six items on its menu have been axed - a move which is sure to upset their hardcore following.
The chain has cut garlic cheese bites and Twix McFlurries, as well as BBQ quarter pounders with cheese (both single and double sizes), Mars McFlurries and the McSpicy, reports BirminghamLive.
Luckily for fans, six brand new menu items have been added, giving you some new tasty treats to try for yourself.
McDonald's has confirmed it is bringing back the Big Tasty - a burger containing a beef patty, Emmental cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, and the Big Tasty sauce, between a sesame seed bun. The Big Tasty with bacon is also making a comeback.
The Chicken BBQ Smokehouse is also making a comeback. It boasts two chicken fillets, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato and onion relish in a ciabatta bun. It costs £4.39 for burger or £5.69 for a meal.
McDonald's is also bringing back Mozzarella dippers - £1.89 for single portion of £5.09 for sharebox and two new dessert items in the shape of the Cadbury Milk Chocolate McFlurry - £1.39- and also the Cadbury Caramel McFlurry - £0.99.
The new menu overhaul comes as McDonald's has run out of milkshakes in all of its UK restaurants due to supply chain problems.
The burger chain has also been left without bottled drinks across its 1,250 outlets in England, Scotland and Wales.
