If you really, really, really can not be bothered to rustle up your own pancakes, there is a very easy cheat option.
McDonald's has announced it is serving pancakes with syrup all day on Shrove Tuesday. Usually, Maccies only sells pancakes as a breakfast item, until 11am.
But on Pancake Day, McDonald's will sell the treats all day, which means if you don't have eggs, flour or milk, or can not be bothered, then you can still mark Shrove Tuesday in the right way. Equally, if you are going to McDonald's anyway, you can add some Pancake Day tradition to your fast food fix.
Pancakes with syrup will be available to order at McDonald's around the UK until 11.59pm on Tuesday February 25.
Customers can also get free delivery on McDonald's orders today, through Uber Eats , on orders over £5.
Customers must enter the code: “PANCAKESALLDAY” when they make their order, to get free delivery before 11.55pm tonight.
