'Mbappe is coming!' - Arsenal fans sent into transfer frenzy as Spotify make decision

Some Arsenal supporters have been sent into a transfer frenzy after spotting what they believe to be a hint regarding a potential summer deal.

Interestingly, and admittedly unrealistically, it involves Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe.

The French World Cup winner is enjoying yet another stunning season with the Ligue 1 giants as his brace in the 3-1 win over Metz at the weekend took him to 37 goals across all competitions.

There is talk of Mbappe departing the Parc des Princes this summer, but Le Parisien claim his asking price is now set between 120 to 150 million euros (£104m to £130m) amid links to Real Madrid.

That would realistically rule Arsenal out of the running as funds are expected to be limited as manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu look to bolster the first-team squad.

However, some fans think they have 'spotted' a hint that all but confirms extra funds on the way.

As spotted by Nottinghamshire Live writer Leigh Curtis, the music streaming device Spotify has emailed to say their prices will increase by £2 a month.

This development comes on the same day its founder Daniel Ek has been linked with an Arsenal takeover.

In fact, according to ITV News, an official announcement of a £1.8bn takeover attempt of the north London club could be launched 'within days'.

All of which has hilariously prompted a theory amongst some Arsenal fans.

Despite it being highly unlikely that Mbappe will be ending up at the Emirates Stadium this summer or next, some Arsenal fans have had some fun with the transfer theory.
