Mayo make four changes for All-Ireland qualifier with Armagh

James Horan has made four changes to his Mayo side for their SFC third round qualifier against Armagh in Castlebar tomorrow night (7pm) - but Cillian O'Connor isn't among them.

Horan had said that the influential marksman was "very close" to a return from the knee injury he suffered last December, but he is not risked.

Having absorbed the blow of losing skipper Diarmuid O'Connor to a wrist injury in training at the start of the week, and Matthew Ruane ahead of last weekend's win against Down, Horan welcomes veteran Donal Vaughan back after injury.

Michael Plunkett and Fergal Boland are included and Mikey Murray is handed a full championship debut at wing-forward for the MacHale Park encounter and those to lose out are the aforementioned O'Connor plus Colm Boyle, Jason Doherty and Darren Coen.

Mayo: David Clarke; Chris Barrett, Brendan Harrison, Keith Higgins; Lee Keegan, Michael Plunkett, Patrick Durcan; Donal Vaughan, Aidan O’Shea; Fionn McDonagh, Conor Loftus, Mikey Murray; Kevin McLoughlin, Andy Moran, Fergal Boland.
